About HaeSol
Hi, my name is Jai, and I’m a healthcare provider based in NYC. I became a doctor because I wanted to improve people’s health and lives in a meaningful way. During my residency training however, I realized much of the system focuses on patching problems rather than truly supporting long-term health.
At first, I believed success meant excelling within that system—seeing as many patients as possible, taking on complex cases others did not want to see, and pursuing the highest earning potential. None of those goals brought me alignment or fulfillment. I also realized that many of the challenges extended beyond what any one person could fix—insurance barriers, and a fragmented healthcare system where specialties often measure success by procedural outcomes rather than the well-being of the individual.
I started HaeSol based on my own experiences—not as a doctor, but as someone navigating the realities of limited time and finances at different stages of life. Over time, I became curious about what actually helps people feel and function better, and the key moments and decisions—both conscious and unconscious—that shape where they are today.
That curiosity now guides my work as I explore the global landscape of food, supplements, health technology, and fitness, drawing from both Eastern and Western approaches while staying grounded in the practical constraints most of us live with.
With so many options promising quick results, it’s easy to buy into trends, lose patience, and move on before truly understanding what works for us. Without a guiding philosophy, we risk becoming constant consumers—spending time and money while drifting further from the real goal: feeling our healthiest and most capable selves so we can pursue what matters most in life.
Through this exercise, I hope to help you explore what makes your health journey unique and discover a philosophy, or practice that supports sustainable, long-term well-being—so you can become the best version of yourself for the world.
